Dr. Raajeev Vijay Hingorani is a Mumbai-based Super-specialist in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy, currently practising at Gastronaut Clinic Kandivali and Mira Road, and also at Apex Superspeciality Hospital in Borivali (W), Thunga Hospital in Malad (W), Globus Gastro Malad (W).

After completing his MBBS from Terna Medical College and NMMC Hospital in Navi Mumbai, Dr. Hingorani opted for acquiring the postgraduate DNB titles in General Medicine and Gastroenterology. He studied and trained at PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre for the DNB (General Medicine) exam, which he cleared from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, in August 2014. He was then based at MIOT International Hospital for three years in pursuit of the DNB (Gastroenterology) qualification, which he was awarded in May 2018.

During his three years at MIOT, Dr. Raajeev Hingorani performed numerous endoscopic interventions, and was on the team for over 90 liver transplantation workups and post-transplant care. In the field of Endoscopy Dr. Hingorani is well-versed with UGI endoscopy, ileocolonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic variceal ligation, capsule endoscopy, APC, and stricture dilation. He has also assisted in endoscopic balloon dilatation, esophageal manometry, 24-hour esophageal pH metry and stent placement in malignancies of the lower esophagus. With a focus on gastroenterological procedures, Dr. Hingorani is nevertheless keen on integrating medicine from all sub-specialities in order to give a holistic management plan to his patients. He emphasises on overall development of health rather than merely the physical aspect of health.

Dr. Hingorani has been a proactive leader and effective organiser since his childhood days. He has successfully organised and managed different types of academic as well as extracurricular events at school, high school, graduation, post-graduation and superspeciality levels. He has actively participated in medical camps and been involved in organising conferences. Teaching has been a part of his professional activities during his post-graduation training, and he intends to continue teaching in his speciality in the years to come, with the objective of managing an institute of medical excellence at some point in the future.
